I began with the strict geometrical puzzle, and then introduced light and graphic freedom by dyeing antique 19th century fabrics, using them in collages to soften the shapes.
Then I turned to shibori, a Japanese resist technique in black or indigo fabrics that I discharged.
These dreamlike entanglements were inspired by the forest with its trees, branches, roots, bark and creepers.
